I'm a What?

So I'm at work today troubleshooting someone's machine when he asks:

"Are you a Mac Stud?"

I'm not sure exactly what this is supposed to mean, but I can only guess that because I work in a Mac lab, people assume I'm a Mac expert. Sorry to disappoint, but I'm really a Gateway man.

In general, Dell and Gateway have been the industry leaders in PCs for the last several years. They are the brands that consistently rate highly in terms of customer service and overall satisfaction. I have a Gateway laptop, many of my friends have Dells. BSU as a campus has a contract with Gateway. eMachines, traditionally a budget brand which uses AMD processors instead of Intel, has recently been purchased by Gateway, Inc.

Whatever you do, I DO NOT reccomend HP/Compaq...those lines have more numerous problems, and bugs, and I haven't known a lot of people that are happy with those machines.

as for the compaq dissing, i love my computer. when it breaks, brandon fixes it, and it works just fine :)
